Eid Mubarak
Dear IJKP readers and supporters,
I pray this finds you in the best of health and spirits. I would like to wish you Eid Mubarak. May this Eid brings harmony and peace in your life. As Shaykh Faraz Rabbani said:
The Early Muslims (salaf) would say: “True Eid isn’t for those wearing new clothes. Rather, true Eid belongs to those whose obedience increases.”
The root meaning of Eid is, “that which returns, time and again; and rejoicing.”
I hope we enjoy this Eid in its true spirits and help our Pakistani brethren; floods have ravaged cities upon cities and now ‘our’ people await us. Please try to visit those areas on Eid and share the Eid spirit with them.
